Manifesting a Dream Career

Dear Secret Sage, I would like to manifest 1. successful acting career 2. Having my own Home in America 3. meeting a American actor that I admire.4. Money but thats something that would fall into place if I was to become a actor. If it is possible whats the right way to go about manifesting them? Thanking you deeply. Julie-Ann Dear Julie-Ann: One of the most important elements in manifesting is having passion for dreams. In order for you to manifest a successful acting career, it must be imperative that you love acting! Not everyone who wishes for a career really enjoys their career. Sometimes, they want it so that they can be famous and adored. Notice the difference. It is really important that you absolutely LOVE what you do. Why? Because it is much easier to manifest! Success takes a lot of energy and persistence, and yet, it can be incredibly fun in the process. You CAN be successful, but you have to be willing to be open to new mindsets and to doing whatever it takes to get what you want. One important element in harnessing the law of attraction to manfiest what you want is that you must provide the Universe with good REASONS why you want what you want. There are no "right" or "wrong" reasons, but your reasons must be real and authentic and thus send a CLEAR signal to the Universe to support you. For example, what are your reasons for wanting a successful acting career? to experience enjoying what you love the most and at the same time earning lots of money so you can live a fantastic lifestyle? that's a clear reason. If you answered "to be famous" that might not be clear enough. Why? what does fame give you? you need to be more specific. If you are looking for being truly loved for who you are, then acting may not be the best route to give that to you. See what I mean? Same goes for wanting to meet an American actor you admire. Why do you want to meet him/her? to help you in your acting career? to have a romantic relationship with? to say that you know someone famous? You need to really be CLEAR on the benefits of what you want and why you want it. For example, if you want to be a millionaire, wanting more money is not enough. You need to tell The Universe WHY you need to money. What exactly are you going to do with it? My coach, Keith Leon, showed me a Mind Mapping tool that outlined exactly how much money you'd need for the dream lifestyle you wish to live. It "tells" the Universe why you need it. Only then, will you get it. In summary, the first step is to be absolutely CLEAR as to the reasons you want what you want and how it will benefit you (or others), The second step is to pretend with all the cells in your body that your wish has come true. Daily, meditate on the scene of having the dream career and home you desire. Be happy imagining this dream with all the cells of your body. This takes practice and commitment. The third step is to "ACT AS IF" your dream is about to manifest. In others words, it means doing what actors must do. It may mean volunteering for acting spots at your local television station, being in community plays. On the other hand, it may mean moving to Los Angeles and joining acting classes or volunteering as an assistant to someone in the acting business. Acting is said to be a tough business to get into. I say, "it depends" on who you are. I know of a friend and his brother. My friend moved to LA and wanted to act badly. His brother did the same. The two had markedly different experiences. My friend was terrible at marketing himself, and spent most of his day working at a video store hoping for auditions to show up on his doorstep. His brother, on the other hand, put up a website, promoted himself with professional photos, landed every two-bit small part on every show he could get his hands on, and has been on national T.V. and movies countless times. Is is famous? no, not yet, but he ACTED AS IF and has made a ton of contacts. His personality and his mindset has made him successful.
